Jim Graham
President, CEO

 

Jim GrahamJim is a seasoned entrepreneur and experienced corporate executive with an impressive track record in acquisitions, divestitures and building long term relationships within many top organizations in Canada and the United States. Prior to taking the helm at Felix®, Jim was President of Organizational Studies Inc.; after helping build the company's Canadian, South American and US offices, he then orchestrated its acquisition by Carlson Marketing Group in 2002.

Jim has built successful companies over the past 15 years and in 2003, led the acquisition of his third company, Felix® Global Corp. He now takes the lead role in the company's strategic growth and development.

With a background in organization diagnostics, customer and employee research programs, designing and implementing organization effectiveness solutions and maximizing employee and customer value, Jim has helped financial services, professional services, manufacturers, retailers, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies function more effectively while fulfilling their strategic vision.

Jim is a Certified Human Resources Professional and has completed the Richard Ivey School of Business course on Executive Development, Managing Human Resources.

Art Filip

Arrt FilipArt is well known for providing broad based strategic HR leadership in both the line and corporate arenas. He brings to his role extensive financial business acumen and 30 years experience in executive Human Resources and lines of business at one of Canada's leading financial institutions.

Having built HR teams from the ground up to support fast growing business environments, Art recognizes the critical importance HR plays within the organization. As such, he offers a balanced, risk weighted approach to finding solutions that ensure HR strategy aligns and supports the evolving business strategies. His expertise in this area includes consulting and coaching, career transition, succession planning, leadership development, change management and employee relations and engagement.

John Higgins

John HigginsJohn's 30+ year career history includes progressive responsibilities within the public, financial services, insurance and not-for-profit sectors. His diversified background and cultural adaptability is evident in the leadership positions he has held in high change environments.

To his credit, John has successfully built a business through a 4 year cycle, consolidated and re-aligned major business operations to deliver against challenging R.O.E. and R.O.I. targets while significantly improving employee and customer experiences, has led an impressive number of mergers and acquisitions, and has aligned strategies, projects, initiatives and teams across an enterprise to successfully reposition it in the North American and UK markets.

John's expertise runs deep in compensation/recognition, HR outsourcing, succession planning, employee relations, retention/termination, employee engagement and business transition.

John is a Certified Human Resources Professional, is a member of the Association of Career Professionals Inc, is a Certified Facilitator and has completed the Executive Human Resources Program at Queens University.

Jeff Theeuwen
Vice President, Client Services

 

Jeff TheeuwenWith more than 15 years experience as a Senior Manager, Jeff has assumed a host of leadership roles in both the private and public sectors. His business background includes Director of Human Resource Development Canada, where he developed and implemented strategic and operational plans to address regional labour market needs. He co-founded and managed the finance and operations of a management consulting firm, which quickly grew to expand into Toronto, Chicago, New York, Bogota and Colombia.

Upon joining Felix® Global Corp, Jeff managed relationships with many of Canada's Fortune 100 firm's headquartered Peel-Halton region. He has acted as a coach and career transition consultant to many senior managers across a variety of disciplines and industries, assisting with Change Management, Conflict Resolution and Recruitment and Selection, Contract Negotiations.

In his current role, Jeff manages the firm's largest accounts, while providing HR consulting advice, counsel on Organizational Re-alignment, Recruitment & Selection strategies, Succession Planning models and methodologies and Executive Leadership development – all in order to help corporations realize their business goals.

Susan Richardson
Vice President, Client Services

 

Susan RichardsonSusan has extensive senior executive experience with over 25 years experience in information technology, insurance, finance, telecommunications and software industries. Her diverse areas of focus include; leadership, sales, operations, professional services, business development and customer service.

Susan’s career is built with a strong people and management foundation with 14 years experience at IBM. She has applied this to the fast paced world of two start-up organizations which culminated in the executive position of a North American Professional Services and Customer Care organization at a large software firm. In addition to her business interests, Susan is active in the not-for profit community. She has vast board experience in the areas of strategic planning, communications, governance, development, leadership and fund raising. She is currently the Past Chair of a large independent private school in Toronto and is a volunteer with various organizations within Toronto.

Susan is fascinated by the potential of the individual to succeed. She brings a combination of personal experience, leadership models and formal training into her coaching practice and facilitation. Her passion for people and their ability to maximize their potential by realizing their creative goals is demonstrated in her work with clients. Susan’s personal mission is to tap into her client’s towering strengths and inspire high potential Executives and Managers to embrace and excel in purposeful leadership, in and out of the office.

Peter McAdam

Arrt FilipAs Vice President of Client Services at Felix Global, Peter works closely with large and medium sized corporations to develop and execute customized talent management solutions that drive bottom-line results.

Possessing a powerful combination of business and people acumen enables Peter’s deep understanding of the unique cultures and needs of diverse stakeholder groups – from the front-lines to senior executives.

Peter specializes in devising and deploying strategic people initiatives that build and strengthen leadership capability, employee experience and performance. His areas of expertise include organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, succession planning, leadership development, HR policy & procedures, conflict resolution and executive coaching.

Peter brings over 30 years of Human Resources expertise, following a rewarding career with TD Bank Financial Group where he held Vice President roles in Compliance & Regulatory Services, Corporate Human Resources, HR Business Banking & Insurance, and HR Commercial Banking. Peter’s passion for great workplaces culminated in a specialist executive role to spearhead an enterprise-wide employee experience mandate, which improved engagement levels to best-in-class status.

A husband, father and proud resident of Oakville, Ontario, Peter is an active supporter of local United Way campaigns and cabinets. Peter presently sits on the Oakville United Way Board and is Chair of the Community Impact Cabinet.

Katie Gooder
Director, Shared & Corporate Services

 

Katie GooderDetail oriented and customer focused, Katie is responsible for overall staffing coordination, team coordination and customer support. As a graduate of the McMaster University and Durham College, post graduate Human Resources Management program,
Katie provides expertise in performance management, recruitment and retention strategy, training and development and policies/procedures development.

Katie has experience of being a part of Corporate Governance and Business Development Committees in the Financial Industry community. As a result, Katie also brings experience in community involvement, board governance and an understanding of cooperative principles to the table.

Laurie Melissen
Program Manager

 

Laurie MelissenLaurie is a Program Manager at Felix® Global Corp and works within the delivery team for Marketing and Career Solutions. She is responsible for the overall management of customer, client and consultant coordination. She works directly with the Executive Team to ensure customer engagement is of the highest standards, leveraging her exceptionally well developed communication and technical skills. She participates on all project initiatives as part of the build team, across all of our major business groups.

An Honours graduate in Business Administration and currently working towards her Marketing Communications, Sales Solutions and Strategies designation, Laurie provides expertise in research & analysis, technical skills, project management and time management.

Laurie brings to her role, experience managing the office of a private investment banking firm, where she supported 5 partners/leaders in a fast paced environment, while working to tight deadlines.

Laurie participates on all project initiatives as part of the build team across all major business groups, and has been instrumental in supporting the company's growth strategy over the past several years.

Teresa Gabriele
Program Manager

 

Teresa GabrieleTeresa works extensively on customer related projects associated with Felix® Global Corp's suite of assessment tools, including 360 (degree sign) and Facet5™. In her daily role, Teresa provides ongoing technical and program support to clients, while delivering against tight timeframes. Her expert computer skills allow Teresa to easily take on the lead role in conducting training for clients and internal staff on the techno logy and administrative side of each of our tools.

Teresa is continually developing and maintaining extensive technical/product knowledge on new additions to the suite of assessment tools that Felix® Global Corp offers.

Liz Spurrell
Program Manager

 

Liz SpurrellLiz’s collaborative working style, attention to detail and customer focused approach makes her a key contributor to the Felix Global team. As a Program Manager, Liz has the responsibility of coordinating, organizing and delivering on key activities and projects supporting the delivery teams annual business plan. On a daily basis, Liz works closely with corporate customers, clients and internal consultants to ensure programs are delivered accurately while consistently exceeding expectations.

After completing her B.A Honours Degree and Post Graduate Certificate in Event Marketing from George Brown College, Liz gained experience as an Event Coordinator for various fundraising and corporate events in Toronto. Responsibilities included management of media relations, volunteer coordination and securing sponsorships.

Drawing on her experiences, Liz provides customers with a high level of customer service combined with a strong ability to execute on their individual needs. Additionally, she is trained and accredited in the Facet5™ Personality Assessments.
